USHERS Be part of our welcoming team on Sunday mornings! Ushers help create a warm, inviting environment, assist with seating, distribute bulletins, and support worship in meaningful ways. Serve God and connect with fellow members as you help make every worship experience smooth and uplifting.
ALTAR GUILD is a dedicated team at Zion DL responsible for preparing and maintaining the worship spaces for services. This includes setting up communion elements, arranging altar linens, and ensuring the sanctuary is welcoming and ready for worship. Their quiet, behind-the-scenes service helps create a worship experience for the congregation.
READERS Share God’s Word with our congregation! Serve, inspire, and grow in faith as you take part in this meaningful ministry.
WORSHIP TEAM Zion’s Worship Team is a group of musicians who lead and support the congregation in worship through music. They provide instrumental accompaniment for hymns, songs, and special music, helping create a worship experience for all.
PRAISE TEAM Zion’s Praise Team leads the congregation in music during worship. This talented group of singers inspires the congregation to engage with God through song, enhancing the worship experience and bringing joy and energy to each service.
CHILDCARE Our Childcare Team provides a safe, welcoming environment where children can play, learn, and grow while parents and guardians participate in Bible study.
LEADERSHIP COUNCIL Help guide and shape the mission of Zion! As a member of our Leadership Council, you’ll provide vision, support, and strategic direction for our ministries, programs, and community outreach. Serve, lead, and make a lasting impact as we work together to grow God’s kingdom.
TECHSPERTS Our Techsperts made up of Youth & Adults, bring worship to life every Sunday! From livestreaming services to managing visuals, this dedicated team ensures everyone—both in-person and online—can experience meaningful, inspiring worship.
ELDERS Serve and support the spiritual life of our congregation! Elders provide guidance, prayer, and care for members, helping shepherd the church in faith and service. Join this dedicated team to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while strengthening your own walk with Christ.
OFFICE SUPPORT Lend a helping hand behind the scenes! Office volunteers support the daily operations of Zion by assisting with administrative tasks, communication, and organization. Serve, connect, and be part of the team that keeps our ministries running smoothly.
FACILITY SUPPORT Help keep Zion welcoming and well-maintained! Facility volunteers assist with cleaning, organizing, and general upkeep, ensuring our spaces are safe and inviting for worship, ministry, and community events. Serve, connect, and make a tangible difference behind the scenes.
KITCHEN SUPPORT Serve up love and fellowship! Kitchen Ministry volunteers help prepare meals, serve at events, and create a warm, welcoming environment for our congregation and guests. Share your time and talents while nourishing both bodies and spirits.
MEAL TRAIN Would you or someone you know benefit from a few home cooked meals during a tough season? Zion Meal Train Ministry is here for you! Through a network of volunteers, we’d love to serve you. LERT Be a hands-on helper in times of need! Lutheran's Early Response Team (LERT) volunteers assist with disaster response and recovery, bringing hope, care, and practical support to those affected by emergencies. Serve your community, live out your faith, and make a real difference when it matters most.
BLOOD DRIVE Give the gift of life! Blood drive volunteers help organize, set up, and assist donors during our bi-annual blood drives. Serve your community, support life-saving efforts, and be part of this vital ministry at Zion.
PICNIC IN THE PARK Every summer, volunteers come together to serve at the Picnic in the Park, supporting The Fuller Center for Housing. This day of service allows our congregation to make a tangible difference in the community while sharing God’s love through fellowship and action.
BECKER COUNTY FOOD PANTRY Each June, Zion volunteers at the Becker County Food Pantry, helping families and individuals in need. Through sorting, packing, and distributing groceries, we put God’s love into action while connecting with our community.
