Get ready for a wild (and delicious!) evening at Zion’s Critter Dinner. This event is usually held in January and guests bring meat dishes to share while we enjoy fellowship, laughter, and good food together. It’s a fun, unique way to celebrate community, try new flavors, and make memories with friends and family! 

Each summer in July, Zion joins the Detroit Lakes Jaycees Water Carnival Parade! Our congregation comes together to celebrate community, share God’s love, and have a splash of fun! It’s a highlight of the summer and a joyful way to be part of the community. 

Join us for Zion’s Annual Celebration usually held in late summer and hosted by our Leadership Council! This event brings the congregation together to celebrate God’s blessings, reflect on the year, and enjoy fellowship with food, fun, and community. It’s a way to honor our faith and the people who make Zion a vibrant church family. 

Celebrate the spooky season with family-friendly fun at Zion’s Trunk or Treat, held the Sunday before Halloween! Kids and families enjoy decorated trunks, treats, games, and fellowship in a safe, welcoming environment. It’s a festive way to connect with our community and share God’s love while having a blast! 

Each year, Zion joins the Parade of Lights, hosted by the Detroit Lakes Chamber of Commerce! Our congregation spreads joy and God’s love through a festive float, lights, and community cheer. It’s a fun, family-friendly way to celebrate the season and connect with our community.
