Serve at the Food Pantry in July!
Mustard Seed Moms is a group of Christ-centered mothers focused on supporting one another and becoming empowered with the tools Christ blesses us with to overcome the wonderful challenges of motherhood.
We invite pregnant women, mothers of children 0-18, and foster mothers in our community to join! Bring a friend! Children welcome with childcare provided. Please notify Mariah (218.298.4139) or the Church Office (218.847.7630) if childcare will be needed.
Join us every second and fourth Thursdays of each month. We will meet in Fellowship Hall at Zion beginning at 9:30AM. (Sept-May)
If you would like to sign up, have questions, or want to be involved in childcare, contact Mariah Briard 218-298-4139 or mbriard95@outlook.com.
This summer, the Mustard Seed Moms are taking things outside! Join us for our Playground Crawl, a relaxed, come-as-you-are gathering designed for moms and kids to connect, play, and grow together.
Throughout the summer, we’ll meet at different parks and outdoor spaces around the area. Kids can enjoy time to play and explore, while moms have the opportunity to build friendships, share encouragement, and spend time in God’s Word.
We’ll be walking through Getting Through What You're Going Through by Tanner Olson, a devotional filled with honest, hope-filled reflections for wherever you may be in life.
Whether you’re new, have little ones in tow, or just looking for connection this summer, you are welcome here.
Maybe you thought you’d be further along by now. Or have a different kind of life. Maybe you thought that relationship would have happened, that dream would have come true, that path would have opened up—and it didn’t. Or you feel stuck, behind, not sure if you made a wrong turn somewhere. You’re trying to make sense of what is, even if what “is” is not what you thought it would be. Or maybe you’re searching for a moment of peace before carrying on.
Getting Through What You’re Going Through by poet and writer Tanner Olson explores these ideas and offers you hope through it all. You don’t have to just “get through”; you can “go through”—all the ups and downs, disappointments, unexpected surprises—knowing that God is present and hope remains. In this collection of over one hundred poems and reflections, Tanner shows that God’s timing may be slow until it isn’t. Every day presents a gift to open. And hope is there to be found in the simplest things—a cup of coffee, a good friend, a single pancake.
If you’re feeling stuck, unsettled, or even just happy to be here, know that hope remains and you’re right where you’re supposed to be.
